Your one-to-one make-over can involve makeup application, wig styling, nail application and, using your own wardrobe, offer fashion/accessories styling and advice. I’ll let you know what jacket goes with what dress and what shoes to pair with what skirt etc. and with a photo to accompany each outfit.

I am aware that everyone’s journey is a different one, I offer a discreet, bespoke & personal one-to-one service that is led by you as to how far and how fast we go.
My prices range from £75 upwards and will be tailored to your needs and expectations.
I offer a totally private environment where we can get to know each-other and work together to build your confidence in your own timeframe be that 1 or 10 sessions, the choice is yours.
The aim of our initial meet will be to get to know each other by you visiting my salon in Hampshire where I have a discreet & private room. Here I will transform you into a natural look you are comfortable with. You can arrive and leave in ‘drab’ or dressed if you wish. Following our initial meet we can then arrange to meet at my studio where we can then replicate the look and using your wardrobe, wigs, shapewear & accessories, find a feminine style that expresses your personality whilst still looking like the woman you want to be.
I want to help you on your journey, so as and when you are ready, I’m happy to accompany you into the real world be that on a walk, for a coffee, a bite to eat or a night out.

I have been working as a Freelance Make Up Artist for nearly 15 years, I have specialised as a Bridal make up artist, I worked and trained with Bobbi Brown cosmetics for 10 years.
Yes, there will be nobody else present in the room when applying makeup or dressing unless of course you want to meet up with another ‘girl’ which I will be happy to arrange.
First meeting will always be in a private room in my Salon in central Romsey. Meetings thereafter will be held at my studio, also in Romsey.
Once you have confirmed our first meeting and paid the applicable deposit I will email these to you.
A deposit of £100 will be required.
You can of course pay by cash on the day but you will also need to pay a deposit prior to meeting.
The service I offer as a stylist means that I will guide you regarding what to wear, with what, and what suits your age and shape. To do this you will need to bring with you all the necessary clothes and accessories you want to try on.
Whilst, I will if you wish, take ‘phone’ photos of your outfits I do not take photos of you dressed. This is a service offered by a dressing service which is not what the ‘Woman Inside’ does. If you are requiring a dressing service I have a local contact that I can recommend for you.
Yes, the aim is for you to leave me with either everything you need to know about your make-up application and technique and/or clothing and accessories. I will generally supply you with a list of items you may like to purchase to complete your wardrobe or makeup bag.
Once you feel confident I will happily accompany you to the garden centre, the café, a restaurant, shopping or a simple walk. The choice as always will be yours as to what you feel comfortable with.
Whilst it’s natural to feel nervous please be rest assured that all the ladies I see had to start somewhere and all were nervous. However, the fact that you’re reading this and have visited my site means you’ve already taken the first step. The next one is to send me an email and we can go from there.
Don’t worry it’s only me who you will see and as no photos are taken there is no record. Rest assured discretion is guaranteed.
Absolutely. As a Professional Make-Up Artist this is what I do and feel most happy doing so.
This depends entirely on what you want to do and achieve. Some ladies come just to have a make-up lesson or have they make-up applied for a special occasion and others spend the whole day with me going through their wardrobe.
All of our meetings will be held in either my Salon or Studio.
There is a small public car park close to the Salon and there is parking straight in front of my studio.
If you’re unsure or have the jitters I completely understand. Many first-timers are nervous just like you are possibly. Don’t worry, whilst everyone is different, I fully understand the need to be made up and dress in a secure and discreet environment on a one-to-one basis. Just What I Wanted - As I entered my mid-fifties, having been in the closet since I was a youngster, I eventually built up the courage to visit a dressing service and have been back 4 times since. However, my real goal is to have the confidence to venture out in public and ‘pass’. Whilst the dressing service I visited was great for photos what it didn’t give me was the type of make-up advice that I wanted or indeed offered no guidance on what and how to dress in order to be as passable as possible. It was then that I started to look for someone who could offer both of these – make-up and styling advice. After scanning the web and finding a number of ‘dressing’ services I found Lisa at ‘Woman Inside’.
I made the initial contact by email and booked my first visit to see Lisa at her private make-up room in a salon in Romsey. It’s easy to park and find, and I arrived dressed in ‘drab’ without any issues. I then spent a couple of hours have my make-up applied and generally getting to know Lisa to understand exactly what she offered and how she could help. Once finished I felt like we’d known each other for years and I left having had all trace of my make-up removed. Not only was it a very relaxed and easy visit but what Lisa offered was just what I seeking – styling advice on what I should be wearing to suit a woman of my age in order to ‘pass’.
My second visit consisted of me bringing my 60+ dresses, jackets, cardigans and numerous pairs of shoes to Lisa’s studio. Over the course of the day we went through what dress fitted properly, what suited my height and shape and what matched with each outfit. I ended up leaving with less than half the dresses I had arrived with and a list of accessories that Lisa had suggested I buy to compliment the look. Just what I wanted – an honest opinion from a real woman who knows what I should be wearing in order to ‘pass’. When the time comes for me to venture out I know I will be so much more confident than I otherwise would have been had I not visited Lisa.
My next visit will be to do the same with tops, skirts and trousers – can’t wait.
To conclude, I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. She’s friendly, understanding and truthful – just like a friend.
